The Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra’s annual holiday concert, Merry & Bright, will be held Saturday evening, December 14th, at 7:00 pm at Bridge View Center. The orchestra and Billboard award-winning vocalists will perform a variety of holiday favorites including “O Come All Ye Faithful”, “Mary, Did You Know”, and “Believe” with the orchestra performing Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride” and “A Christmas Festival”.
OSO Board President, Luke Miller, shares, “We are thrilled to announce the return of the Texas Tenors for our highly anticipated Christmas concert. With their incredible talent and show-stopping performances, this is sure to be a holiday event you won’t want to miss.”
The Texas Tenors’ concerts appeal to all ages and have been wildly successful from performing arts centers, casinos, and symphony halls to outdoor festivals and corporate events. These classically trained, versatile tenors have been honored to celebrate our nation at such prestigious events as The White House National Tree Lighting, The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, and Congressional Medal of Honor Ceremonies, but some of the most rewarding moments for JC, Marcus (alum of Indian Hills Community College), and John are honoring our nation’s veterans at each and every concert across the country.
